Green Family Immigration Law
Championing Green Families
Founding Attorney Esther Noh's vision for Green Family Immigration Law is inspired by her own family's journey. The Noh family, like many others, started their new lives in the U.S., through the green card process and became U.S. citizens, embodying the concept of a "Green Family."
Esther's mission is to help families become "Green Families," ensuring they flourish and achieve prosperity in the U.S. Esther passionately practices immigration and nationality law, with a deep commitment to helping families achieve their American dream. As a Korean-American born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Esther experienced firsthand the challenges and triumphs of the immigration process.

Our Founder
Esther S. Noh
Esther S. Noh passionately practices immigration and nationality law, with a deep commitment to helping families achieve their American dream. As a Korean-American born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Esther experienced firsthand the challenges and triumphs of the immigration process. Her parents immigrated from South Korea, and she grew up assisting her family and community members with their immigration journeys, earning the title of the go-to person for immigration matters at her Korean-American church.
From a young age, Esther developed a passion for immigration law, translating for Koreans at USCIS interviews and advocating for her community. Today, she lives her dream as an immigration attorney, dedicated to making the complex immigration system accessible and navigable for her clients. She offers clear, concise legal counsel, ensuring her clients are well-informed and prepared to face the challenges and risks of the immigration process.
Esther specializes in helping families navigate the marriage green card process, ensuring spouses can live together in the United States. She believes that love has no borders and finds great joy in uniting families. Esther provides expert guidance on all aspects of the application, from initial filing to the final interview, making the journey as smooth as possible.
She focuses on defending immigrants in complex removal proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR). Passionately advocating for immigrants' rights, she secures bonds for clients from ICE detention facilities and defends them in removal proceedings.
Esther also counsels domestic and foreign businesses and investors, specializing in E-2 investor petitions, L-1A transferee petitions, O-1 extraordinary ability petitions, and EB-1 extraordinary visas. She has extensive experience across diverse industries, including consumer goods, technology, engineering, oil and gas services, manufacturing, and transportation.
Esther received her Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern School of Law and studied immigration law at the University of Puerto Rico Law School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During law school, she was selected for a fellowship at Equal Justice Works of America, serving indigent clients at the Lone Star Legal Aid in Houston, Texas. She also joined the Immigrant Access to Justice Department at the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund in New York, New York.
Esther co-founded the first Korean American Bar Association of Texas, serves as legal counsel for the Board of Directors for the Korean Language School in Houston, and acts as the community liaison for the Korean American Society of Houston.
